Ganchillo - Tejiendo Ilusiones

Actualmente me encuentro enseñando el tejido "ganchillo" en una academia. Tengo una docena de extraordinarias alumnas las cuales son grandes fanáticas de todas las bellezas que se pueden confeccionar con un ganchillo y madejas de hilo. Entre risas, preguntas, dudas, comentarios, café y bizcochitos estas mujeres se entregan a la confección de diferentes piezas como abrigos, estolas, botines, baberos y sabanillas de bebé. Se comparten patrones entre ellas mismas, y yo, como mariposa voy revoloteando alrededor de la mesa, visitando los diferentes proyectos, contestando preguntas y haciendo sugerencias. Para algunas son sus hijos su inspiración, para otras son los nietos, otras donan sus obras, y otras tejen para si mismas. No existe una palabra que pueda describir mi satisfacción de poder compartir con estas mujeres y saber que de alguna forma soy su motivación para querer continuar tejiendo, saber que les ayudo a tejer ilusiones y su entusiasmo por comenzar un nuevo proyecto.

Es esta misma satisfacción la que me mueve a abrir un nuevo tema en este blog, para las amigas que también disfrutan de este arte. Son muchas las fuentes de donde se pueden obtener patrones e ideas. Entre libros, revistas, el internet y las amigas la variedad es prácticamente infinita. Así que no pretendo hacerles creer que les voy a traer algo nuevo o desconocido, ya que yo no poseo una colección de patrones propios, pues yo también me inspiro en la creación de otras artistas.

Lo que si deseo es llevar a ustedes, mis lectoras, es el despertar de un nuevo deseo de regresar al ganchillo. Si tienes al menos las nociones básicas, si sabes hacer una cadeneta, un punto bajo y un punto alto, eres capaz de hacer cualquier proyecto. Visita las fuentes de información que tienes a la mano, busca qué o quién será tu inspiración, busca una madeja y un ganchillo y manos a la obra.

Regálate ese tiempo para tejer ilusiones!

Crochet - Crocheting Dreams
I am teaching crochet in a Neddlework School. I have a dozen of extraordinary students which are great fans of all the beautiful things that can be done with a needle and thread skeins. Among laugther, questions, doubts, comments, coffee and pastries, these ladies devote themselves to the creation of sweaters, shawls, booties, bibs and baby blankets. They share patterns, and me, like a butterfly will fly around the table, visiting the different project, answering questions and suggesting ideas. For some, it is their children their inspiration, for others is their grandchildren, other donate their work and some crothet for themselves. There is not a single word that can describe my satisfaction for sharing with these women and be in a way or another their inspiration to continue crocheting, to know I help them crochet dreams and their enthusiasm for new projects.

It is this satisfaction that moves me to open this new topic for my friends that also enjoy crocheting. There are many sources from where to obtain patterns and ideas. Among books, magazines, the internet and friends the variety is almost infitity. So I do not pretend you to believe that I will bring anything new or unknown, as I do not have a collection of personal patterns. I too get my inspiration from other artists creations.

What I do want to bring to you, my readers, is the awakening of the desire to return to crocheting. If you have basic knowledge, if you know how to make a chain, a single crochet and a double crochet, then you are capable of doing any project. Visit your information sources, choose what or who will be your inspiration, get some thread and a hook, and off you go!
